Swimming with wild turtles
February 26, 2017
If I had to describe this experience in one word it would be: UNREAL. That is seriously the best way to describe the day. We got to swim with WILD turtles!! Ya know, the ones that live in the ocean!
So we heard about a beach called Spotts beach where you can usually see Sea Turtles but its never 100% guaranteed that you will. So we went out on a limb and hoped that we would be lucky enough to see them. But before we hoped in the water, we enjoyed the beautiful beach and our new lounge chair that we got. You can buy it here!

Well.... lucky we sure were! Not only did we see one turtle but we saw two by each other and than saw two other ones later in the day as well! Now these turtles must be really used to people because we got to pet them!! We swam down and got to touch their amazing shells. It was UNREAL! We than got to swim along with them and it felt like we were there for hours. Time just froze as we swam through the crystal clear water along with the turtles, watching them so majestically go up to the surface to take a breath. It was an experience I would pay BIG BUCKS for that we got to do for free. Sure we were in the ocean so it could be a little bit dangerous but we felt safe.
Now as if our day couldn't get any better, we were following a turtle for awhile when all of a sudden he flips around and a HUGE sting ray just glides on by. I felt my heart skip a beat seeing such a creature in the wild and I felt vulnerable but excited at the same time. I immediately stood up out of the water and Clint motioned for me to throw him our GoPro because he is CRAZY enough to follow it but it was too late and the Ray was long gone. It was an experience I will never forget and I could die happy now... okay not really but it was pretty dang sweet.
Now if anyone has been to the Caymans before or has heard of stuff to do here comment below so that we can experience more incredible things!! Thanks for reading and joining us on our adventures. XOXO
